Bridget Evans is an extraordinary young woman. (She
is also my beloved niece.)
Bridget was selected as FOX Sports Net "Inspirational
Athlete of the Year" in 2002, at the age of 13 (her
birthday is on Valentine's Day!), and received a
standing ovation for her inspiring - and funny - talk to
over 350 people. Bridget was also the 2004 "Champion of
Children's Memorial, Chicago, Illinois".
- Bridget has a condition known as Spina
Bifida, and will undergo up to three life threatening
operations in the next few years.
Fifty percent of the book's
net profits will be donated to The
Bridget Foundation to help pay for
Bridget's on-going and on-growing medical expenses.
(Although Bridget's parents have insurance, the
surgeries, according to her mom, Mary, are
considered 'experimental'.)
Five
percent of the net profits from
"SalesBURST!! : World's Fastest
(entrepreneurial) Sales Training" will be
donated to the Spina Bifida Association of America.
A note from Cindy Brownstein, CEO of the
Spina Bifida Association:
Thank you for your time and your wonderful
generosity.
We are honored that you are
donating 5% of your net revenues from your book to the Spina
Bifida Association. It would be my great pleasure to
come to Chicago and meet with you. I would like to share
some more about the work of the Spina Bifida Association
and the Spina Bifida Foundation.
Many thanks, Pat, for all you are doing. Bridget is a
very lucky young lady to have you and your wife as her
uncle and aunt. Cindy Brownstein,
